The Location
Mitcham HaMishtala is being built on the historic nursery grounds of the Zionist Youth Farm. As part of the landscape development and the effort to preserve the original nursery areas, the values of community, and a love of the land, a dedicated space has been allocated for a community garden. Inspired by the Spirit
The streets of Katamon are home to several synagogues, some of them historic, welcoming a diverse community of worshippers that reflects the neighborhood’s spirit of unity, its rich social fabric, and its pluralistic character.
The most renowned among them is the “Shtiblach”, a historic synagogue founded in 1948 by Rabbi Yisrael Ze’ev Mintzberg, one of the neighborhood’s first settlers. The Shtiblach is active throughout the day and enables several prayer services to take place simultaneously, serving the many worshippers who visit it.

The new OPEN center, set to be established within the project, brings a fresh offering of Jerusalem leisure culture and community-oriented entertainment to the neighborhood.
